Getting Ebay involved in a case that a buyer opened

I need to get ebay involed in a case that a buyer opened. The buyer and I can both see the item has stopped tracking while at the authenticator hub, but theres been no update from ebay. The item was going to be authenticated between march 13 through the 19th, and on the 20th the buyer opened a case because there was not an update. Now i have until the 25th to resolve the case but I'm not going to issue a refund since I didn't lose the item. But there isn't an option to ask ebay to get involved.

Send a PRIVATE message. eBay will confirm your information before responding.

eBay should be the one to handle the refund since they have possession of the item.

I do know that the authentication center gets backed up and it sometimes takes a week or two LONGER than their estimate.
