Getting a satisfactory response from ebay after filing a claim for an undelivered order
Seller reply was that he would refund after item was returned. Simple fact is that item never left Chicago because USPS returned it to seller because of incorrect postage rate. Since he did reply, apparently ebay has assumed the problem is resolved...when in fact the response was totally unacceptable.
Any suggestions on how to get ebay CS personnel off their dead butts and help me?? Their automated system is good for c__p. ebay assumes that reading articles will resolve all problems.

·3 years agoGo back to your Purchase History, bring up the details on the case, and find a link to "Ask eBay to step in" (you might have to wait the full time eBay gave the seller to respond even though s/he did respond, not sure if the response speeds it up). eBay does not automatically rule on a case, a party needs to ask for the step in within 21 days of starting the case or eBay closes it without a refund.
