Getting a refund for counterfeit bike

Bought a Pinarello dogma, and when my mechanic inspected it in the United States found that the bike is counterfeit. No serial numbers anywhere on any of the parts. Purchased a bike from Croatia. What would be the steps. The seller I believe did not know it was counterfeit since it was given to her.

I took a look at other listings and could not find pictures that show serial numbers.

I recommend to do some searching before you start the counterfeit process.

Iâ€™ve had very high-end bikes from five to $10,000 each. All these bikes come with serial numbers that are on the frame and higher end components. My mechanic searched and could not find any.

My bike has only a sticker which is easy to remove or replace.

From the wrong item, you have to make pictures (at least 1) and upload them.

The seller has to accept the return and provide a return label. Or send shipping money, before you return with tracking.

The seller has to provide a clear return address.

Ask eBay to step in, if the seller doesn't cooperate. You can do that 3 full business days later.
