Getting a refund for a recalled item
During COVID, I bought a bunch of Powecom KN95 protective masks. They were recently recalled because defective. I contacted the seller to request a refund, but have gotten no response.

·1 year ago@jennifewoodhul0This is a tricky question, so please bear with me on my answer. And as far as recalls go, I did not see any on the US/Canada Side, but regardless I will answer properly.
eBay buyers are protected for up to 30 days after the estimated or actual window of delivery (whatever is longer.) As excerpted from eBay's money back policy page:

If this recall was recent, and assuming it was longer then 30 days, then the seller is not technically obligated to refund you under eBay's umbrella.
