Getting a fair price
How can I be assured I will get what an item is worth? I had a $60 item sell for opening bid of $.99. It killed me, but I somewhat learned a lesson. I have some items I feel are worth a lot of money, but how do I keep them from going for pennies? Is the solution to set a reserve price?

Mentor2 years agoUsing a reserve price will cost 7.5% of the reserve price, regardless if the item sells or not. Save your money.
List the item at the lowest price you will accept if you only get ONE bid, if you plan on using the auction format. Don't fall for starting an auction at 99¢ .
