Geographic limits on shipping
I typically price my items to include "free shipping".
Is there a way to set up an add where it limits buyer's location? For example "continental US only" or "USA excluding Alaska and Hawaii only"
If yes, how do I do that? And what happens if a buyer ignores that message and buys anyway?
Thanks for your help.

Mentor2 years ago@hardiner_0 You can block locations if you wish in account settings. That is the way to limit the locations you ship to. However I recommend using the eBay shipping calculator and entering zip codes for these destinations to see if you REALLY need to do this or not. You will find that the shipping cost is not really more than to a continental US state for most items.

I see you are also enrolled in the eBay International Shipping program. You will only ship to Illinois or CA and eBay forwards the package to the buyer. eBay refunds the buyer for ALL refund requests once the item safely reaches the US forwarding center. This is a great seller benefit and an easy way to reach buyers around the world with zero risk. I strongly recommend NOT blocking any countries.
Here's how to block buyers in locations you don't want to ship to>
1. Exclude shipping locations https://www.ebay.com/ship/prf/excludeRegions
2. Block buyers whose primary shipping address is in a location I don't ship to AND block buyers with 2 or more unpaid in 12 months.
