GALLERY PLUS FEE Being Charged on COLLECTIBLES section now? Or Error? 2023
My listings have the Gallery Plus feature selected because it is Free in the Collectibles category. Today it seems like any item I relist (or create) is adding a $1.00 insertion fee for this Gallery Plus feature.
I can't find any update saying this will now be a paid listing upgrade. Only on-line mention of this feature still says the feature is free in Collectibles section or a .35 fee (so what's the $1?). I did not change categories nor has eBay changed them on me.
Looking for advice or (pref) an eBay employee to respond with some info. I can un-tick the box, sure, on the items as I relist them -but- don't want to remove the feature on my 7000+ existing listings if this is a known error that will be corrected.
Gallery Plus fees have creeped up on folks over the years as categories changed, but this does not seem to be the case now.

OP3 years agoconfirmation from eBay this is a known issue. the Gallery Plus will continue to be free for the Collectibles category but any Seller who might be affected should contact them so their account is on the list to fee credits, etc. once the issue is resolved.

Mentor3 years ago@mhoponhop The final value fees did increase today but gallery plus is still suppsed to be free according to the fees page: https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/fees-credits-invoices/store-selling-fees?id=4809&st=3&pos=2&query=Store%20selling%20fees&intent=fee%20st&lucenceai=lucenceai&docId=HELP1443
If you FB I recommend eBay for Business for help with this: https://www.facebook.com/eBayForBusiness The agents are more experienced.
OR you can request a call back or live chat:
1. CLICK THIS LINK: https://www.ebay.com/help/contact_us?id=4191&st=10
2. Request a call back or live chat from the left hand side of the linked page.
eBay does not have a phone number you can call directly at this time as the agents are still working from home.
If you are using a cell phone turn off the spam filter or it may block the call back

Mentor3 years ago@mhoponhop FB CS agents are really good... if you use FB. I wouldn't want to build up a lot of fees and then have to fight to get them removed. I did check and it doesn't look like I am being charged for gallery plus on my collectibles ( I forget to check the box half the time though LOL)
Or you can use the live chat option so there is not a language barrier.
