Further En**bleep**tification of eBay
I purchased three items from the same seller. Before I bid, we agreed seller would combine shipping. I won all three items. Ebay then billed me - and automatically debited my account - for shipping of all three items. So I've paid three times for shipping. These are small items. Why did eBay do this? Is it one of those things like the way they default you to search for items internationally - when I only want to shop in the USA? Is it like when you list an item and eBay would deviously set it up that you would take offers - at half the price you set for the opening bid? Anyway, now what do I do?

The seller has not set up combined shipping rules so eBay doesn't apply a discount. The seller should refund your over-payment. Hopefully he will. That's assuming he said he would discount the shipping (combining shipping and combining shipping with a discount are two different things). If I owe the buyer a discount on shipping, I generally put through the refund after I've created the shipping label and know the exact cost based on item weight, package size, and ship-to location.
eBay has never defaulted my search results to international sellers nor have I seen any reports here on the boards about that. As for offers, you need to turn off that setting when you list the item.
