Funds sent to a closed account
Forgot I closed a payout account a few month back, sold something recently and the funds got sent there. Contacted eBay they said it was accepted by the bank. Account was closed 3/1 transaction was 6/19. Called the bank they said there’s no way money could go to a closed account eBay should have it. Tried calling eBay that was a joke. Tried chatting again that was a joke. Do not know what else to do

Mentor1 year agoWhen you closed the bank account, was a new one opened? If so, the refund should go to that new account. If no new account was opened, the bank should return the payment to ebay, and ebay will credit your account.
Update your checking account so your payouts will be correct.
Go to Seller Hub > Payments > Summary > Your preferences > Payouts > Payout Method
