Funds on hold, but items were delivered & feedback already left from buyer
I had a great number of items that were sold, but the funds are still on hold weeks and months later. I have found that in most every case it simply is due to no USPS confirmation of delivery. Ive been told that probably because USPS did not scan correctly, etc. At the same time, a great number of them show that feedback was left by the buyer so that should be proof enough that the item was delivered. How do I get my funds from "on hold"? Its impossible to contact eBay and there are no avenues I have found to request customer service help.

Actually, when you ship with ESE (eBay Standard Envelope) it is NOT door to door tracking.
It is Metered Mail and the tracking code is only scannable on highspeed mail sorting machines, not by postal carriers. Therefore, the last scan is typically one stop upstream within the USPS system from the delivery address's post office for that zip code.
The code cannot be scanned by carriers or by a counter scanner.
Some may never show delivered and if a Buyer files a claim that they did not receive their item you Refund them immediately then pursue reimbursement from eBay as explained on this Help page: eBay standard envelope | eBay

OP4 months agoIs there a better service/choice to use? I see a lot of people (I sell sports cards - so simply envelope/mail) use the USPS regular mail/just the cost of a stamp, etc. But how does one ever get those fud off "hold" status. There's no proof of mailing at all on those?!

No, do not use regular stamps. The ESE protects you up to the two price points outlined in the Help page. By not using that service you have no recourse if a Buyer files a claim that they did not receive their item. Part of what you are doing is a numbers game pure and simple. If you don't have a lot of claims for non-receipt and just have to wait a little longer to get paid then you are doing just fine, the system is working as expected.
