@jackg4380,
You did have something go wrong with a transaction, which would extend the time you will face holds.
I did mistakenly say the funds will be held for a few weeks. Once you ship, and upload tracking, your funds will be released within 3 days of tracking showing Delivered. You had better ship soon or you may get a defect for slow shipping.

@jackg4380,
The reply by @inceptions , is not stupid. Because you have done so little selling, 1 item in the last year, and 3 from over a year ago. You still have the new seller hold placed on your payments. The link below does explain when the holds are placed, and how to get the funds released sooner.
As for getting interest while the funds are held, that will not happen. If you follow the procedure and ship the item the funds should be released within a few weeks.
that answer is stupid sounding.will my funds be held every time?what determines how many times or when funds get held?will you give me the interest from the funds being held?
Whoa! Sorry you think my response was "stupid sounding." I'm a member just like yourself, trying to help you by answering your question.
I provided you with a direct link to the policy you asked about which explains why eBay holds payments and when you can expect them to be lifted. It sounds like you didn't read it.

Your funds are being held because you are an occasional seller. See the policy on payment holds here:
