funds on hold
I sold an item on ebay as cash and carry with pick up NOT shipped. The buyer picked up but now my deposit is still on hold and i need to mark shipped and produce picture of shipping label. This is my first time using ebay motors does anyone know how to go past this point to release me deposit.? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Mentor2 years ago@kauffman06 There is no shipping label for local pick up but there may be a pick up code. I know that there are codes for pick up in other categories, just not sure if eBay Motors produces one for local pick ups.
Contact your buyer and ask if they have a QR code or a 6 digit code.
For proof of pickup you can:
use the eBay app to scan the QR code the buyer received through email
use the eBay app to manually enter the 6-digit code the buyer received through email
To scan the QR code:
Go to Selling on the eBay App.
Go to the Sold tab.
Select the Arrange Pickup banner.
Tap the Scan to confirm pickup button.
If the buyer doesn't have the QR code available, ask them for the 6-digit code they received through email and manually enter it in the app.\
Also since you are a new seller you will be subject to fund holds of up to 30 days even with providing proof of delivery.
New or infrequent sellers will experience transaction holds while learning best selling practices. This helps sellers become established and build a strong selling history on eBay. New sellers typically experience holds for up to 30 days, although sometimes it may be longer
