If I sell an item, and my funds are on hold due to authentication check, do I still ship my item before I’m paid for it ?

If I sell an item, and my funds are on hold due to authentication check, do I still ship my item before I’m paid for it ?

Mentor2 years agoYes. On ebay, when an item is paid for, and ebay says to ship, you ship. Managed payments will process the payment (usually 2 days) and when it reaches your bank, it can then take 2-4 days before the bank actually credits your checking account.
For new or infrequent sellers, the hold is made on the funds until tracking shows DELIVERED. If the item is over $1000, the hold can be held for up to 30 days.
