Funds not received
I sold an item. The funds were placed on hold until the purchaser received their item. The item was lost in the mail. I offered a refund to the purchaser. The funds were taken from my bank account. The problem is that I never received the funds in the first place. So, basically, I just gave the purchaser 100.00 dollars of my money. Plus, my item is still lost somewhere in the mail system.
Who do I talk to to get this fixed?

Mentor5 months ago@pugili-89 Did you file a missing mail search on the USPS site? Did you file a postal insurance claim on the USPS site?
This is how refunds work>>
Refunds, even for order cancellations, come out of your available funds not pending or held. If you do not have available funds then eBay charges your back up payment method for selling costs.
Have you entered your backup payment method for selling costs here:
https://ppcapp.ebay.com/myppc/wallet/list Select Manage under the method you want to use then select Preferred for selling costs. I use a credit card.
Once you issue the refund and the buyers funds are released from being held or finish processing then the buyers payment is released to you.

OP5 months agoThat's absolutely right. Jayraj with customer service something or other sorted me out earlier. Thanks for your response, and I hope you have a great rest of your day!
