Free Shipping adjusted based on USPS Zone
We all know listings with "free shipping" sell better. My issue is I live on the east coast. To ship a 3 pound item locally is about $7, but to ship it to the west coast it will cost more than $15.
I realize I can have eBay add actual shipping to the listing, but many people stupidly (imo) want "free shipping"
Why cannot eBay setup of the listing so the shipping fee added is adjusted by zone? This seems to be an easy fix. The customer would get free shipping and the price would be adjusted depending on where they live.
Thanks for listening.

If you set the listing to free shipping, when you go to buy the shipping label you will be charged only the actual (discounted) shipping rate based on where it's being shipped to. You are being charged a different rate depending on where the buyer is located.
