Free ship & location higher fees
I sell using free shipping on all my items. I am running into issues on my end when someone buys from a location that requires higher shipping costs (California for example). Is there any way to offset this higher cost after a purchase is made? Is there a setting on eBay I can use to somehow let the buyer know an additional fee will be required due to shipping location? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Mentor1 year agoNo. If you offer free shipping, you cannot charge a buyer more just because s/he lives in California. I had a product years ago that had a "Best by" date, so I listed it with free shipping. Buyer turned out to be in Alaska, so I ended up making nothing on the deal, but at least I got the item sold.
