Free returns,,, free shippinp
Have spent an hour trying to navigate to sell a $19 new auto part on E-bay. Now being forced to offer free returns and I cannot seem to get the policy changed in my former "no returns" format.
totally frustrated with their user unfriendly format.

Return policy
Thank you. I do understand the conditions and policies. The issue becomes one of filling out the forms on the listing to comply. It seems very complicated to me. Its a vintage part worth about $20 and I am about to put it back on the shelf or throw it away.

This P&A listing has a non-compliant domestic return policy. Please update the return window to 30-days (or more) and/or update return shipping cost payer to Seller, and then make another call. Sellers using business policies must make the same changes to their return business policy and then make another call. "Make another call" - who am I calling?

Mentor11 months ago@rob7747. You need to update your Business return policy OR opt out of Business Policies on the upper right of this page>> https://www.ebay.com/bp/manage
Then just create the return policy on the listing
Let me know if you're still stuck after trying these options.

I understand that free returns may be concerning however keep in mind that the No Returns policy never meant no refunds. A buyer could easily get around your no returns policy by SAYING an item is not as described.
Also while other sites may have different return policy requirements ALL sites are going to allow credit card charge backs. At least with eBay's system you only have to pay 50% of the return shipping at most.
You do have to accept the return if it is filed within 30 days of the date of delivery.
Whether or not you have to pay any of the return shipping costs depends on the REASON the buyer chooses when they file the return request.
The 50% reduction in eBay labels applies only when a buyer changes their mind after purchasing an item and wants to return it.
If a buyer wishes to return an item because it doesn’t fit their vehicle, we’ll cover the cost of the return shipping under eBay Guaranteed Fit. If the buyer reports that the item arrived damaged or doesn’t match the listing description, the seller is responsible for the full cost of the return label.
