why is Ebay still allowing sellers to offer pick up only on items on the other side of the world, getting as bad as craigslist

Mentor7 months ago@woozabee. Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their listing.
This seller obviously made a mistake.
It's a good idea to always check the item location and shipping method prior to making a purchase.
Have you tried messaging the seller and asking to cancel the sale?
If they don't cancel then go to your purchase history and file a not received refund request 7 days after purchase. If the seller doesn't refund you then ask eBay to step in and help on the 4th business day. That is the soonest eBay can force a refund.

OP7 months agoI didn't buy it and seller did not make a mistake, I see this scam a lot, item is usually in a place like Croatia, Bulgaria, or eastern Ukraine, pick up only and no refunds, I reported it to Ebay a long time ago but they are still allowing it to happen, simple software issue would stop it.
