Freaked up Return
This is the stupidest freaking company I have ever dealt with in my life. My cell phone got returned because the lying customer said it dropped calls. When I took it to Verizon the customer had it Google locked. I can unlock it for $80. Now their hounded me for money, and it’s going to cost me $80 to unlock my phone. Help. How do I get a hold of these hateful freaking people?

"My cell phone got returned because the lying customer said it dropped calls. When I took it to Verizon the customer had it Google locked. I can unlock it for $80".
You will have to use the link below to report the buyer and possibly get a refund to pay for unlocking the phone. I can't get to the list of reasons for reporting one because I haven't sold anything lately.

If there is no option to report the buyer for modifying the phone (locking it) you will probably get resolution by contacting ebay through one of their social media site's.
You want to give them the item number, buyer's username, add info about the return and the fact that when you got it back, they had locked it and that it would cost you $80. to have it unlocked.
Before contacting ebay, I would suggest that you go back to the Verizon store speak to a manager andask them to write a note on company stationary stating the phone had been Google locked by the buyer (real name) and what the charge for unlocking it will be. Have them sign, date and possibly provide contact info, in case ebay wants the charge further verified. Then add a clear photo or scan of the note to the report. Sign it with your username and first name. Those reps have the power to authorize refunds or maybe a courtesy repayment.

If that does not work use the links below to contact ebay through their social media

OP1 year agoNone of this. None of these help sheets help me. Their little chat stuff doesn’t help me Because I need to speak to somebody other than their assistant because she’s only giving me categories that’s going to lead me to those stupid sheets. Those stupid, stupid stupid sheets aren’t going to help me. I can’t report the buyer bc they closed the case that I appealed. How can they close a case that I appealed without talking to me. Not to mention, they sent my phone to the wrong address. They sent it to the billing address so it took me another week to get it. I need to speak to a human and I need to speak to a human now. If I don’t then I’m hiring a lawyer to sue them. Wow, gonna have to hire a lawyer over something that could be handled simply if they gave me the option to talk to them.

OP1 year agoOh, and I can’t get a hold of them on social media because I don’t have social media. I don’t have a Facebook account. I don’t have an Instagram account because they’ve been hacked. That’s how I know that there was nothing wrong with my phone to begin with because Verizon has taken all the steps to make sure that my phone does not get hacked again. Plus, I have a iPhone now but I still don’t have a social media account. I have voluntarily opted not to have one and have deleted the ones that I could get into.

·1 year agoThat’s your choice not to have social media. @mudshark61369 told you how to contact the people at eBay that can actually help with this. If you choose not to take our advice, there’s nothing else we can do.
Oh, and when you accepted the user agreement, you agreed not to file suit against eBay, so don’t waste money on an attorney. Disputes are to be settled by arbitration.
