Fraudulent Sellers
I am running into fraudulent sellers a lot lately! They don’t have the merchandise depicted and take your funds, which get tied up for a couple weeks! Drama! They are like children just causing chaos for no reason with people they think are prey.
There needs to be more a buyer can do besides bend over and take it!
Reporting a violation does nothing
Contacting Commerce only gets a refund at best
Feedback is pointless as these vendors have connections and feedback gets taken down
Pay-pal is only going to drag things out like there’s an investigation but that’s just more tomfoolery!
I found a seller on several different platforms, stupid enough to use the same name in their storefronts!
How is any of this possible? Can I open a store and list false items and just start taking people’s money? Long as a percentage goes to Commerce?

Ebay has a Money Back Guarantee. If the buyers file a dispute against the "fraudulent sellers" (Refund request/Return request) and Ebay finds in favor of the buyers, then the sellers get well deserved defects on their account. Enough defects should cull the herd.
