Fraudulent seller help
Purchased a camera lens on EBay and the first time “seller “created a tracking number with a package weight of 6 lbs. in Denver, Colorado.Fraudulent seller then sent a letter originating from another city and state to a different address in my town with the same zip code as mine and utilized that same tracking number as was originally created in Denver! All The tracking information on EBay was showing the item was on its way to me and showed it was “delivered in a mailboxâ€. The problem is the letter was addressed to someone else’s mailbox and delivered (not mine), but under that tracking number that was originally created in Denver with my address according to our local post office .The letter was delivered and the camera lens was never sent, but it looks like the original package was delivered in my mailbox according to the tracking info.. on EBay.I disputed this with EBay but they claim the item was delivered to my address according to the tracking information in the system and they rejected my claim. I could only go through their automated system and not speak to anyone at EBay which is absolutely maddening! Anyone know how I can resolve this?
