fraudulent purchase
My wife does not have an ebay account but her debit card was debited for $900 dollars for an ebay pos purchase the she did not make. Our bank is not helping at all. What can be done?

You must continue to work with your bank - eBay cannot give you any information on a purchase not made with your account.
If the customer service rep is not helping, request a supervisor. Let them know nicely that you know that your liability is limited (by law) and will file a complaint with the consumer financial protection bureau if they do not provide the assistance required by law.
