Fraudulent person representing Ebay
I thought I was calling ebay it directed me to a phone number for a complaint regarding an item that was sold to me that was in a terrible condition, stated in the purchase that it was in perfect condition, with no rips or tears, they were telling me they would override and give my money back during a screen share and taking all my banking information had me direct to download an app Zendesk, then cash app, and the phone dropped. Meaning the phone line dropped the call not by my doing and then he called back on a different phone number. I believe this is completely fraudulent. I have frozen my card and my information somebody was misrepresenting to be eBay to give me my money back on an item that was misrepresented.

·2 years agoEbay doesn't have a phone number you can call.
Any phone number found doing a search is fake and not Ebay.
Hope they didn't get any money.
You can make a police report, though it probably won't do anything.
To return the item you received, use the MBG.
Go to your purchase history and click return item and select, the item doesn't match the description as the reason.
The seller will have 3 days to accept the return and pay return shipping or refund without returning.
If they don't, return to the case on day 4 and ask Ebay to step in.
