Does eBay stand behind it's money back guarantee when a buyer is scammed by a seller? I have reported the seller already, will eBay look into the refund part of things after they investigate fraudulent/scam listings? The buyer now has another feedback with a scam report that the seller did the same thing to another buyer also after myself.

Mentor2 years agoebay's Money Back Guarantee works if you file an Item Not Received case within 30 days of the last estimated delivery date. Seller has to provide a tracking number showing Delivered or refund you within 2 days. The MBG also works if you file a Returns Request due to Item Not as Described within 30 days of receipt of the item. You return the item with the prepaid shipping label. Once tracking shows Delivered back to the seller, the seller has 2 days to refund you. If no refund, you go back to the case and click Ask ebay to step in, to force the refund.
