Fraudulent listing
I reported an item being sold as a Makita grinder that was actually a cheap Chinese copy.
A Makita is worth 4 times what the Chinese grinder is worth when both are new. The Chinese grinder was listed for $24 used, but the same grinder sells new for $18.
Some buyer is going to be defrauded.
A reported this twice to eBay with the supporting evidence and contacted the seller in case they had just made a mistake identifying the grinder.
The seller never replied. Ebay told me that they had a customer support person check and their policies are not being violated.
It looks like eBay doesn't care if the seller lies in the listing, even after someone tells them. Can you tell me how report somewhere else to prevent a buyer from wasting their money on a fraud?
