Fraudulent Delivery Photo
So I recently placed an order through Ebay. It wasn't expensive (16 bucks). It was delivered to the wrong address. I speculate that the seller must have delivered it personally because the FedEx tracking number appeared fake. The seller said that he would have proof of delivery, which he provided when I messaged him stating I did not receive my package. However, the house in the photo was not my house. The package also appeared to be in a Walmart bag, which is another reason I concluded that it must have been hand delivered. The seller acted like I was lying about not receiving my package and asked me to close the case. Of course this upset me, so I sent him a picture of my house with my address number clearly displayed. When I requested a refund, he had the nerve to photo shop the picture of my house that I sent him with a fake package on the step and said it was delivered. I can tell it was photo shopped because for some reason he added Christmas lights to my banister and removed my door mat? Also, his "photo" was the exact photo I sent him (same angle) with the mentioned alterations. It was also suspicious that the photo was darker as if to conceal some of the editing. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this type of behavior and how I can remove this seller from Ebay before others fall prey to his scams? I have to be honest, I really don't care about the 16 bucks. It is just the principle. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
