Fraudulent Charges on Credit Card from EBay
Someone used my credit card # to make a purchase, today January 14,2025. My credit card alerted me this morning. They have reversed the charges and canceled my card. I went to EBay’s site and the 1st thing that popped up was ZAIN5000.
Who is this? Is this where the purchase was made or is this who hacked my credit card?
I have 5 other charges from different companies. They are all tech like companies. What should I do? Can I find out who used my credit card to make a purchase from EBay?
Thank you,

OP1 year agoWhen I was alerted this morning about a charge made this morning from EBay I Googled EBay. It took me straight to Zain5000. That has never happened to me before. Usually the EBay home page will come up. I am an antiques dealer so most of the time I’m just looking and don’t sign in. Considering I had a fraudulent charge I am highly suspicious because I have never had that happen to me.
Thank you for your help!!!!!

Don't do that. Googling a name and picking the first result to sign in can be very dangerous.
Did you ever hear about the ReadWriteWeb Facebook fiasco of 2010?

To go to eBay, go to ebay.com. Bookmark the site.

If there are purchases in your eBay account that you did not make, change your eBay password immediately, and examine all your account details closely for any changes. Consider changing your email password, and if you have any social media accounts linked to eBay, consider unlinking them or change those passwords as well.
