Fraudelent Charges will not be refunded.
Hello,
I received about 1000 dollars of fraudulent charges on my Ebay account for purchases that were paid by my Chase checking account. I received a text that these were fraudalant from Chase immediately and called them they started the refund process.
On Ebay unbeknownst to me the fraudulent purchases that were made happened in a the hidden purchases folder. so I did not see them. When Chase submitted the claim to Ebay , Ebay responded with a notification that the charges were valid and Chase denied my claim.
This morning I worked with Ebay to flag the charges as fraudulent, which they did. But Ebay is tell me that can't provide written proof to me that these charges are fraud and w/o the proof ( written ) that need to send to Chase , the bank will not submit another fraud case.
I believe I am out the 1000 dollars of chrages unless I can get something from Ebay to allow Chase to appeal the fraud case again.
