FRAUDE concerning Intellectual Property
Summary: bootjevaarder reported that a seller named generically here is using their 3D designs without permission, which are protected under a specific Creative Commons license. They attempted to resolve the issue directly with the seller, who refused to comply and threatened legal action. fashionsandbeauty4u provided a link to eBay's Intellectual Property policy to help bootjevaarder formally report the issue.
A seller offers for sale 56 items, illegally using my 3D designs from Printables.com.
These designs are protected from commercial use by licence "Creative Commons (4.0 International License)".
So I contacted seller and asked him to remove all 56 Ebay entries concerned.
Seller states he will not comply.
He threatens with legal consequenses.
So I told him I would ask Ebay to take appropiate steps.
Can you advise me in this matter?

OP1 month agoI got the following response from seller cloejean1:
"We have a compliant commercial use licence for each item we have on eBay. They have been captured and date stamped electronically.
Each licence allows us to make any design changes without consultation with the licensee. All items are in the public domain, irrespective of country.
Creative Commons 4.0, or any other licensing, has been followed and cannot be revoked at a later date by any means and including change of owner licensing permissions.
Our solicitors have access to this CC 4.0, or any other licensing data, including date/time stamp changes and by whom.
All licences, data, design and cad drawings are held by our Intellectual Property Solicitor. We will no longer converse with you and our solicitor will be engaging directly with eBay if required."
