FRAUD SELLER - NEED HELP
Hello Everyone,
I purchased a "rare coin" that was presented as an ancient roman coin(silver) placed in a silver pendant to wear on a chain. It was at a good price about 100$ less than what a coin in this condition was going for and cost me 180$. After wearing the pendant for several months, in the ocean, pool, sweat, it began to show some strange signs of wearing and the coin itself started to flake and under the "silver" appeared to be iron or some other type of metal, after looking more closely, the word COPY was stamped into it and water was covering it was obviously now worn off. Again, this coin was sold as a legitimate ancient roman silver coin. I contacted the seller and asked him to make it right and that I would not report him however he decided to first tell me I was mistaken and that was normal for ancient coins and then decided to try and convince me the word COPY was being mistaken for actual roman lettering typical with the coin(this was insane he actually said that). I sent him an even larger pic of the obvious word COPY and he proceeded to insist that I stamped the coin and am asking for a refund because I am poor and got bored of it. I have purchased around 10k worth of items on ebay for personal collection purposes and have never asked for a refund like this or experienced this, I intend to report the issue however the purchase does not show in any of my purchase history when I use the tool to "report an issue" or "request a refund". I have tried calling ebay or would like some insight on how I can contact them ASAP. Please any help is appreciated. This is not about 180$, this is 100% about the principle of the matter and that this scam artist has a 100% seller rating on ebay and is likely doing this to others who have no clue. PLEASE HELP
