fraud seller
Seller "Yalokin" has created a USPS online account and creates shipping labels with the USPS portal instead of the EBAY shipping label generator, USPS only charges when the package is scanned in, this way, they can submit a tracking # and get paid without actually taking the item to the post office, when the item ultimately does not arrive, they blame USPS and advise the customer to request a refund which is backed by EBAY, this way, they get to keep the money and leave the platform holding the bag, they are doing the same thing on Amazon under the company name "Nickston".
They are also somehow deleting critical reviews.

OP4 months agoOrder placed, specific shipping instruction given,
"Hello, please use the E-bay shipping label generator and not the "digital kiosk" and then HAND DELIVER the package to the post office."
we'll see if they follow them.

A seller does not have to follow the instructions you sent. Sellers are not required to use eBay shipping labels nor are they required to deliver the package to the post office. they might use another online label provider. They might use carrier pickup. They might work during the day and can only use the night drop. they might not have a postal scale and they have to have the package weighed at the post office.
The seller determines what his shipping process is, not the buyer.
Obviously your package had movement as the two scans were done in two different locations. It's in the hands of USPS. Since so much time has passed, it should be considered lost at this point.
Unfortunately, after reviewing the scans just now, I see they were made about six weeks ago. That sounds like you may have missed the deadline to open a case through eBay. If it's more than 30 days past the estimated delivery date, you're too late. In that case, your recourse would be to see about a chargeback with your credit card company.

OP4 months agoI got my refund, that's not the point I'm trying to make, my assertion is that USPS NEVER physically receives the item.
If they get it right this time, great, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

Mentor4 months agoI'm glad you got your refund.
A scan that reads "Accepted USPS electronic receipt of item for mailing" means the item has been dropped off at a post office, likely at a self-service kiosk, where it was scanned as accepted. It indicates the USPS has received the package, but it has not yet been processed at a distribution facility.
That indicates to me that the package is lost.

OP4 months agoIt appears they have gotten their act together, the item is moving through the network.

OP4 months agoAll well and good, but what the seller is doing is not taking the item to the item to the post office at all.
The tracking always shows only these two steps,
step 1.
Shipping Label Created, USPS Awaiting Item
WHEELING, IL 60090
February 12, 2026, 9:40 am"
step 2.
"Accepted
USPS electronic receipt of item for mailing
PROSPECT HEIGHTS, IL 60070
February 12, 2026, 2:24 pm"
The package then shows no movement from there, when the seller is asked why there is no movement, they say they will contact USPS, which satisfies the platforms due diligence policy but nothing happens, the customer does get a refund, but I guess what I'm wondering is the seller refunding the money or EBAY?
They are doing the same thing on Amazon, the reviews are pretty telling,
https://www.amazon.com/sp?ie=UTF8&seller=A3Q2CGUGI7HOIB&asin=B096X7XLVG&ref_=dp_merchant_link
If they aren't keeping the money, why else would they be deliberately disappointing their customers?

As you can see from the tracking you provided here, USPS DID receive the package, but it appears to be lost. That is not evidence that the seller is deliberately disappointing the customer.
The refund comes from the seller's account. eBay just facilitates it.

OP4 months agoOkay, but their tracking always says
"Accepted
USPS electronic receipt of item for mailing"
as opposed to what the tracking history on every other USPS shipped order states,
"USPS in possession of item"
which to me indicates that they do not have "physical" possession.
If the refunds are coming from their account, and they are not gaming the platform, why aren't the items getting to the customer?
I'm going to order a set of adapters ONE MORE time to prove that this is a consistent issue with them, I will document the chain of events here.

Mentor4 months agoHi @middleagedgeek
You are misunderstanding a few things here...
Sellers can buy their shipping labels on eBay, at the post office, or from any other online site. If a seller doesn't receive an acceptance scan from USPS, the only scan may be the one created when the label is purchased - no matter where it's purchased. All of this is perfectly acceptable.
As far as not receiving an item, here's what to do...
Check the estimated delivery date shown in your Purchase History. When that date has passed, you have up to 30 days to use the option next to the transaction to open a case for an item not received. The seller will have 3 business days to prove delivery or refund. If he doesn't, go back to the case on day 4 and use the option to ask eBay to step in. eBay will force the refund from the seller's account.
