Fraud second chance offer
The seller of auction item number 196246548964 contacted me after the auction was completed. They informed me that the winner of the auction failed to complete the purchase and that they would honor my bid of $48,800 for the purchase of the CAT 299. I said that would be great but that we needed to compete the transaction through the eBay platform. He informed me that eBay did not allow secondary bidders to pay through their system. I know this to be completely false. I told him to send me the address of where the unit was located and where he was located so I could send a representative to authenticate the existence of the equipment and their actual legitimacy. I haven’t heard from him since. Please stop these scammers, it is very tiresome. I’m posting this here because eBay will not respond.
