Fraud order
Hello team. Today someone used my card to make a purchase on eBay (not my eBay account) and I’d like to know, what information Can eBay provide to assist my bank in this process? I’ve never done this before so I’m not sure. Do y’all think there is a way for my bank to see or for eBay to provide the billing/shipping address used to make this purchase? Cause whoever did probably didn’t have the correct billing info. Thank you

As advised by @disneyshopper, all you have to do is contact your credit card company to dispute the charge. They will follow up with an investigation. Neither they nor eBay will disclose to you any information about who used your account #. A common way your number can be stolen is from a credit card reader you recently used while out shopping (a practice called "skimming" if you'd like to read up on it).

Mentor2 years agoContact your credit card company and report the fraud. The company should then cancel that card and issue you a new one. Change your password and do not give it to anyone. Always sign off of ebay before walking away from your computer or cell phone.
