Fraud / ebay
Does anybody have any information on who I can contact about and getting ripped off and I don't stove from me and money taken out of my account because this happened three times now and the values up almost to $1,000 and nothing is being done for an example I sold an item for $250 it arrived to the lady and then as soon as she got there she claimed the family member died and she no longer needed it and I had no return on the item by the way but anyway eBay took two hundred fifty dollars out of my account and gave it back to the lady and she was supposed to ship it back and she never did never got a tracking number nothing so she kept the $250 item and she got $250 from me and this happened two other times and now I got an issue going on with somebody buying an expensive product and I got evidence proof that it works pictures and everything and then they send it back and it's fried they either swiped out the parts inside of it or they blew it up but either way I've got the proof or evidence whatever 100% proof that that's what happened with time and date stamp photos and eBay did the same thing took money out of my account and now I got to deal with a blown up part and the money taken out of the account and they will not do nothing about it and they claim that they have seller protection and everything and I'm going to talk pretty to tell her and been with eBay for years is there something that I don't know or is there someone I can contact that would take care of the situation and be responsible like you would think of multi-million dollar company would?Â

Mentor2 years ago@rase-2897  Sorry you're having a problem with bad buyers. I see you are a Top Rated Seller it would benefit you to at least have Buyer Pays Returns on your listings. This way you can reduce the refund amount by up to 50% if the buyer somehow reduces the value of the item.

If the buyer files a refund request saying that the item is not as described then you need to accept the return and issue the return shipping label. Â
The eBay Money Back Guarantee overrules your returns policy.  Your return policy only applies if the buyer files a buyer's remorse return: Doesn't fit, changed mind, etc. Â
No returns does not mean no refunds>Â If you do not accept the return willingly then the buyer can ask eBay to step in and forces a refund. You do not get your seller's fees back, you get a defect and the buyer may be allowed to keep the item.
If the buyer abuses the eBay MBG in some way then you can report them but it doesn't get your money back:

Sellers have protection for return abuse if they offer FREE RETURN shipping on their listings OR if they are a Top Rated seller and offer 30 days or greater returns. The seller can then reduce the refund amount by up to 50% if the buyer sends a different item or somehow reduces the value of the item.
