Fraud and keyword manipulation
I'm tired of the fraud and keyword manipulation going on with several people selling car parts. They list hundreds of years and thousands of keywords. Why can't eBay limit the number of characters in the parts discription just like they do when you file a complaint? And why wont they pull the ad when fraud is happening?

OP2 years agoIt's out of control and EBAY won't do anything about it!

Mentor2 years agoHave you tried narrowing your search to eliminate the unwanted results?
Adding a period between dodge and charger will cause eBay to return only the listings that have those two keywords in order without any intervening keywords, for instance. This can eliminate a lot of listings that just have random makes and models included in the item specifics.

The more specific your search is, the easier it is to eliminate the unwanted results. Using additional keywords, grouping keywords, narrowing to a more specific category and using the Brand filter to select Dodge or OEM parts only and avoid unbranded or off-brand parts can help.

OP2 years agoI have. They are listing hundreds of things that have nothing to do with the items they are selling just to get more people to see it.
