Fraud
Seeking information about making a return, and wishing to speak to a representative, I called number on eBay (?) Site. The gentleman told me the seller would not accept return but eBay would refund my money. He instructed me to go to nearest Dollar General store, go inside and buy $200 eBay card. Cautioned me to not disconnect, leave my phone in car, and proceed inside the store and then talk to him once I got back in my car. He could not, to my satisfaction, tell me why I had to spend $200 and why he could not talk to me in the store. I hung up on him. When I went home I was able to within 5 minutes request a return and refund, received the return shipping label. Obviously I was a victim of fraud. The site I found the number on looked like a legitimate eBay site. Beware! The man's name was Ryan and the number was 502-908-8121.

Mentor3 years agoI'm sorry that happened.
Never call a number that seems to be eBay. Always request a call back using the eBay site.
No one from any legitimate site will ask you to buy gift cards for any reason.
I am glad you were able to get your return label.
