Fraud
Seller sent a set of mirrors broken, offered less than half back if we would glue them back together. Declined. Said sent return label, did not. eBay promised to help, extended the window to return while we tried to contact seller who ignored us, then eBay closed the window before their own date for return and we are STILL inside that. Both seller and eBay made it impossible to be successful with this return and we are out $200. We will NEVER buy from eBay again.

Mentor11 months agoIf you filed a Return Request, and the seller did not cooperate, 4 business days later you could have gone back to your Return Request and clicked on the link to have Ebay step in to help you receive your refund.
There was no reason to try to contact seller who ignored you. If you did not ask Ebay to step in by the deadline, Ebay was able to close the request due to inactivity.

OP10 months agoI know now that Ebay supports fraudulent activities. Some venders send broken merchandise, refuse to take returns by making offers that sidestep the issues of sending broken parts. Ebay is almost impossible to contact, telephone contact is almost impossible, and the Ebay company takes no responsibility for their veneers. If the vender will not cooperate, the customer is just out of luck, stuck with a paid for broken item. If that is not fraud, I don't know what is.

Mentor10 months agoWhen the seller does not cooperate you can use eBay's money back guarantee to ask them to step in to help you.
