fraud
I found out today that eBay no longer allows fraud to be reported. As of today they have simply eliminated fraud as a reportable category. Nor can you request a review when their AI system says fraud does not violate their standards. If you look at the gemstone listings, fraud is what the vast majority of their recommendations, sponsored ads and "most trusted sellers" are actually committing. Does this bother anyone else?

Mentor1 year agoListings can be reported for listing violations, where a listing violation indicates that the seller is breaking eBay rules even if the seller delivers exactly what was advertised.
A strong suspicion that the seller will not deliver what was advertised -- even if the suspicion is well founded -- does not mean that the listing itself necessarily violates any listing rules prior to fraud taking place.
