Fraud
I sold a gift card and was paid. I then was asked by I assumed the buyer for the gift card number through Ebay messenger. I of course sent it and asked if they wanted the physical card and I didn't get an answer. I waited 2 days and asked again....no response. This was on December 26. The buyer opened a case against me yesterday saying they want a refund because they never received the card. I went through my messages and noticed their Ebay name wasn't the same as the person who won the auction. I of course reported it to Ebay last night. I'm hoping I will get some type of reimbursement but would anyone know how this works?

Mentor1 year agoNo reimbursement. You have been scammed. I would never give out any codes via messaging, even if it was from the actual buyer. Always send to the SHIP TO address attached to the payment.
