Fraud
The person - ebay user 'geoas1421' has my personal mobile telephone details obtained via a fraud auction and has been calling me over and over again taunting me.
I purchased an item, a steering wheel, from this user via eBay however he/she was supposed to post it to me but he/she did not and because of that I opened a case on eBay. After the case was opened he/she confirmed that he/she had posted the item but then straight afterwards sent another message to say he/she had cancelled the transaction and refunded my money because I opened the case.
They would have been provided my details, name and postal address, via eBay to post the item in the first instance as they were supposed to have done. With my name and postal address (or just one of those details) it is very easy to find my telephone number online due to the nature of my work. Since this transaction was cancelled I have received tens and tens of telephone calls taunting me, and saying 'eBay' ,'Cab'. Please can eBay take action against this person and also advise me of what further steps would I need to take to take to ensure that this person stops using my personal mobile telephone number to taunt me and disturb my days and nights?
I would be willing to go to authorities as I believe this is possibly a crime what this person is doing. I know the calls are coming from them because the only words they keep mentioning the item that I had bought from them [steering wheel] and they keep referring to my eBay user name.

·3 years agoThere is nothing eBay can do to make this person stop. You need to contact the police about the harassment. You might also contact your phone company to see if they can do anything.
