Only electronic payments are allowed when an item is being shipped. You could try looking for one that is local to you and where the seller allows pick up - sellers can take cash at pick up if they set up the item that way.
You could buy an eBay gift card at a local store and use that, but gift cards carry their own problems. Cards displayed on racks are targets for scams.
A visa or Mastercard gift card is usually safer because it is in a sealed package, but that comes with a fee. Plus, you would have to add that gift card to a PayPal account, then select PayPal as your payment method - you can’t use those directly on eBay.
