Foreign Buyer with 3rd Party Shipper with US address... Yes of No?
Hello, I have a persistent buyer that uses a 3rd party shipment forwarding service as their US based address which the forwards the item to South America. I canceled the first order and explained I don't ship to 3rd parties, but only directly to the buyer as not covered if lost. It would not be through eBay's International shipping service so am very wary of shipping as believe it may not be a legitimate sale and the item is NOT inexpensive. Thoughts or recommendations would be appreciated. If this is in violation of eBay's rule, would appreciate knowing that as well. Thanks in Advance!

eBay's International Shipping program/service is, essentially, a third party forwarding service.
I don't know if eBay's policies/procedures specifically allow sellers to decide not to ship to third parties.
I'm not even sure how you would always be able to recognize freight forwarding service addresses. In my experience, a lot of my buyers have had shipping addresses that look a lot like a regular street address for a huge condo development, with a long apartment or suite number.
Without taking time to look more closely at eBay's User Agreement, I think eBay allows sellers to block shipping only to specific countries. I believe US-based eBay sellers can also choose to block shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, APO/FPO addresses, and US territories, such as Puerto Rico -- which has always seemed overly limiting, to me.

More and more overseas Buyers are using these freight forwarders with a U.S. address as opposed to the eBay International Shipping program that is more expensive for them. eBay allows Buyers to use a freight forwarder.
Your job as the Seller is to send the item to the exact address in the Order Details. Once the forwarder sends the package to your Buyer, the Buyer loses their protection on eBay. So in this scenario, you actually have more protection than the Buyer does.
