Forced auto payment popup
I can’t bid on items anymore for eBay has forced an auto pay pop up when I try to bid, they’re new answer is to tell the seller to uncheck something in setup constantly having to ask a seller over an over an majority of the sellers fight you on it because they are lazy an won’t help, I’m about fed yup with eBay trapping me into something like this after 23 years of using this service HELP!!!!!!!

Mentor2 years agoWhy are you asking sellers to change their settings? Very few sellers would even consider doing that since it defeats the purpose of it. The only time it would make sense for a seller to change the options is if you are purchasing multiple items from the same seller who is offering a shipping/handling discount.
Otherwise, why not just follow the process for auto-pay?

Mentor2 years agoebay is trying to reduce unpaid transactions. They started asking for a payment method when an Offer is made, and most recently added this to auction style listings. If you win, you plan to pay, right? So what difference does it make if you select the payment method now or later?
