Forbidden words in titles
I've searched for a list of forbidden words or phrases to not use in titles but have had no luck. Is there a complete list somewhere? TIA

No, there is no master list of forbidden words - just use common sense. No profanity or slurs, don’t use a brand name if the item isn’t that brand, etc.

OP2 years agoThanks for your reply. I should have substituted a word for "forbidden". I was thinking more along the lines of brand names, etc. I've seen too many people get their listings deleted or they were suspended for selling something they weren't supposed to or using a brand name that's not allowed. The only one I know of is to not use "Bundt" for a pan unless it's the Bundt brand. I'm just being proactive.

There are a few other brand names that people think are generic terms like Bundt - Velcro, QTip, Kleenex and Onesie are ones I can name. Velcro and Gerber (Onesie) are aggressive about misuse of their names, like Nordic Ware is on Bundt.
There is a long list of companies who are registered with eBay to protect their intellectual property, but most do not have product names you would use as a generic. For some late night reading to put you to sleep, 😠the list is here -
