? for those who sell cds and dvds online on Ebay
I have been selling media for 16 years and never had a complaint on my descriptions, esp. cds and dvds. I just had a customer cancel an order partly because my item condition description was VG and the customer said that a very good cd should not have any scratches. (new and like new items I can see that and hold to it due to being new or like new.) However, the Very Good category says this about scratches and I quote: "An item that is used but still in very good condition. No damage to the jewel case or item cover, no scuffs, scratches, cracks, or holes." In the context of that sentence, I'm assuming that the object/subject of that sentence is about the jewel case or cover of a cd/dvd as it does not included the word disc- so my question is-am I interpreting this correctly? The description goes on to say " no skipping of the cd/dvd." My thinking is a disc, cd or dvd , might have a few light scuffs or scratches but as long as it plays without skipping that it is very good condition. Am I seeing this correctly? I have sold hundreds of discs without a complaint from my customers; am I letting one customer upset my apple cart?
