In the last couple of days, has any sellers received an email from Ebay saying there is a glitch in the system for entering shipping tracking numbers? I bought something over the weekend but an expense came up (Murphy's Law) and Monday morning I put in a request to cancel. It was denied many, many hours later. I respect that, I did buy it with good intentions and it is up to the seller. Item is now showing shipped but showing untracked, so it is not tracking through the Ebay EIS system. Seller said they shipped early Monday morning and input the tracking number. I asked for it, having seen it is showing untracked in Ebay. Seller said they had received an email from Ebay a couple days ago saying there was a glitch in the system when entering track numbers. Now the seller can't find the track number. Shipping was expensive for me (converted into Canadian $) and covers full tracking. I love to give the benefit of doubt, but all signs point to the seller not telling the truth. The request to cancel was put in, in the morning, the declined email from Ebay not sent out till evening (it is sent right away when declined), and no track number because I suspect the seller marked it as shipped but they didn't at that point because I asked for the request to cancel. If there was a tracking number, that would tell the truth. So, did anyone receive an email about a glitch? I want this package tracked, so what are my options if the seller won't give me the tracking number? Thanks!!!
