For non top sellers, how long doefree returns period need to be to qualify for damage deductions
For non top rated seller. How long does the return period of a listing have to be to qualify for deduction of refund if the product is damaged or not in same condition when returned by the customer?
I was looking at the seller protection policy and it says it's 30 days for top sellers, but doesn't specify it for regular sellers.

You need to offer 30 day Free Returns if you are not Top Rated to qualify for seller protection. Then you can reduce the refund amount by up to 50% if the buyer some reduces the value of the item. For example they wear a dress and send it back stained, ir open a new on the box sealed item.
If the item was damaged in shipping then you must refund 100% and file a postal insurance claim.

-If you receive a returned item you only have 48 hours (2 days) to process the refund to the Buyer. If the refund process on the claim allows you to deduct the original shipping and a % of the original price (because the return shipment damaged the item) then do that. If not then you will have to refund the Buyer for the price of the item.
