Flooded with partial matches
Hi
On my saved searches I am flooded with partial (useless and distracting) matches. For example, I specify the shirt size 16.5 32. But the search returns all sleeve sizes. Or I specify 41S or short. I get 40 Long, 42 regular R...
Surely there's way to get Ebay to stop shoving items at me that do not correspond to the search terms I've entered...

Mentor2 years agoYou may want to consider temporarily stopping email alerts for the searches affected, and possibly creating a new search with one of your search keywords enclosed in quotes in order to bypass the faulty keyword substitution feature which seems to be producing the irrelevant results.
Use the "Feedback" link on the search results page to alert eBay to the problem with a particular search. The more users report issues directly to eBay that way, the more likely eBay is to do something about the problem.
