flawed diamond says the buyer
I sold a natural round diamond 1.03 carat ring with a 14 carat setting
Prior to sending to authenticator, I looked at the diamond under a magnifying glass, and saw no flaws at all, only a beautiful sparkle of the diamond.
It passed the authentication, and was sent to buyer. I then received a mail from the buyer stating that it was flawed, with a big black spot in the diamond.
Wouldn't the authenticators have noticed the flaw (big black spot), and return it to me as I did not mention any flaws in the diamond?
I believe the buyer changed his mind, and made up the flaw, or perhaps switched the diamond, with one they had prior to the sale.
Now the buyer wants a refund. and they are to send to authenticator before I receive it back.
What am I to do, I do not want to make a refund?
