Fixed shipping wrong package to buyer, but Ebay still wants to Refund?
We shipped the wrong Package to a buyer,
Buyer shipped the Wrong package back,
We shipped the correct package to the Buyer, But Ebay still shows "refund" and it threatens an Automatic Refund.
Do we have to Refund something to the Buyer so we don't get forced into the auto Refund?

OP2 years agoYes the Buyer accepted the resolution offered. Pretty sure we selected Return for the previous option. Might have missed an option to "Send a replacement" since I don't recall seeing that previously.

Mentor2 years agoIf you selected "Return", then the buyer returned the item and (according to the process) would be entitled to a refund.
Send a replacement sounds like what you wanted.
If your only choice, now is to refund, you can
1) ask the buyer to close the return case on their end (indicating they are satisfied and no longer seeking a refund). or
2) ask the buyer to "purchase" you replacement item after you refund the original purchase.
1 is the better option, if your buyer will do it.

Mentor2 years agoWas this a Return Case?
If so, did you offer "send a replacement" and then upload the new tracking to show the replacement was sent? Did the buyer accept the resolution you offered?
